AUSTRALIAN DANCE iNSTITUTE (ADi) Is a new concept in "open access" dance education. It is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO/NTIS ID 91600) and was formed to provide a support group for all affiliated organisations, teachers and dance schools. It is a provider of nationally accredited courses and resources in dance training and professional development in the industry. It provides an umbrella auspicing group for RTO compliance and support. Its mission is also to help educate private dance teachers, schools and associations in coming to grips with existing and new National Standards under the Australian Quality Training Framework - AQTF. In this role it is also a reference group working with Government in conveying the needs of the small to medium dance industry providers. ADi has a particular mission in encouraging and supporting dance education in small business generally, and particularly in remote and regional Australia, as an added contribution to provision of employment opportunites by contributing to the local economic and cultural landscape in these areas.
