The Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering (GSBME) is internationally recognised for its contribution to biomedical engineering education and research. We offer the highest quality educational programs and maintain a robust research profile, undertaking ground-breaking research in a number of biomedical engineering fields including biomaterials and tissue engineering, bionics, modelling and teleheath to name but a few.

Our postgraduate programs reflect the strength of biomedical engineering at the University of New South Wales. Graduate applicants may enrol in a Graduate Diploma or Masters degrees by coursework or undertake a program of research that leads to a Master of Engineering or Doctor of Philosophy degree. In addition to our postgraduate programs we offer concurrent programs in conjunction with undergraduate schools in the Faculty of Engineering, which allows students to undertake and Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Biomedical Engineering at the same time.

The Hunter Trade College is a NEW APPROACH to vocational education in NSW - more RELEVANT, more FOCUSED and more EFFECTIVE in meeting the needs of both industry and young adults.

The College is a private not-for-profit Company. It is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in NSW and is an accredited senior school for delivery of the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC).

The Hunter Trade College operates at its new purpose built facilities at Maitland (Telarah).

Students are selected on their aptitude and desire to commence trade training in Years 11 and 12. There is an equal emphasis on the completion by all students of a Higher School Certificate (HSC) as they commence their trade training. During this training students are provided with workplace mentoring, ongoing work and study assistance with an emphasis on employability skills.

The Hunter Trade College staff have considerable experience in industry and schools. Teaching staff are trades qualified.

Johnston Aviation Services (JAS) is a privately owned and operated Flying School and Charter Company located at Port Macquarie on the North Coast of New South Wales and has been operating since 1989.

All instructors have been employed for their experience and dedication and with IFR training approval are able to give more personal attention to our students. We believe that the relaxed friendly atmosphere at Johnston Aviation Services, with uncongested airspace and no taxi delays, ensures you receive the most efficient training possible.

Other operations include charter in which we cater for a number of corporate and private clients situated in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas, who frequently use our services.

Overall, Johnston Aviation Services offers a sound learning environment, all levels of flight training are catered for at the school, and with a mixture of youth and a wealth of experience, all students are guaranteed full attention

Mosman Community College was established in 1949 and is your community-based adult education centre based in Mosman High School. It is a not-for-profit organisation managed by the Principal and a voluntary council consisting of representatives from the Northern Region of the Department of Education, Mosman High School, Mosman Community College students and tutors, members of the community and the local Member of Parliament.
