The core and unique responsibility of the New South Wales Board of Jewish Education, which operates as Academy BJE, is to provide Jewish education to children in state and non-Jewish private school systems; that is, to children outside of the Jewish dayschool system.

It is our aim to reach these children, who are scattered throughout the Sydney metropolitan area and in families across Australia and beyond with quality Jewish education programs.

To ensure the social integration of these families in the Jewish community, Academy BJE provides enrichment and informal education opportunities for the children and their families.

To ensure quality education, Academy BJE provides professional and curriculum development for teachers across the whole spectrum of education in areas related to Judaism, Hebrew language, Jewish History, Israel and other generic education fields.

Our school is located in a quiet part of the Five Dock area in Sydney overlooking Hen and Chicken Bay. We are close to Five Dock Park and Halliday Park, where the children can enjoy open space to play.

We were founded in 1919 to serve the educational needs of the Catholic community of Five Dock.The Presentation Sisters were the first leaders of the school, with the first lay Principal appointed in 1976.

St Peter’s Campus is a Catholic, co-educational, Years 7-10 systemic school within the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle. Our school is located in the township of Tumbarumba, which is situated at the base of the Great Dividing Range and the "Gateway to the Snowys".

All Saints' Tumbarumba is a systemic primary school in the Wagga Wagga Diocese and is under the direction of the Diocesan Catholic Schools Office.
