Education NSWÂ introduces St Stephens Lutheran College in Gladstone, for all your education and learning needs.
St Stephens Lutheran College is Gladstone’s only P – 12 school; one of 26 Lutheran schools in Queensland. As a caring Christian community we seek to recognize and appreciate the uniqueness, dignity and personal worth of each student because they are viewed as a special creation of God.
Our small size enables us to know and care for each other in a safe family atmosphere. Our students experience an educational program characterised by a strong commitment to the Christian faith, firm but caring discipline, and the expectation that they will achieve the highest standards of which they are capable. By working closely with students, St Stephens Lutheran College aims to equip students for their future options by arming them with an optimistic attitude to life, enquiring minds and the skills to make the most of the opportunities they are given. Our programs ensure that students will have a solid grounding in academic studies, are confident in using today’s technology, appreciate their cultural heritage and enjoy sporting and recreational activities.
The College aims to equip students to embrace the future, strive together, and walk with God. Our motto, “Today the classroom, tomorrow the world” reflects our forward looking focus.
Welcome to St Stephens Lutheran College one of the popular educators in your Gladstone area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
